This page explains what information O’Neil’s Tree Service collects when you visit our website, call or text us, or book an estimate, and what we do with it. We use it to schedule and do your tree work, to stay in touch about it, and to understand which of our ads and pages bring people to us. We do not sell your information.

Who we are

O’Neil’s Tree Service is a trade name of O’Neil’s LLC, 233 Hedden Ct Unit A, Palm Harbor, FL 34683. Phone: (727) 599-7548. This policy covers oneilstreeservice.com, our online scheduler at schedule.oneilstreeservice.com, and our phone and text lines. O’Neil’s Land Care is part of the same company and follows this policy.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you request an estimate, book a visit, call, text, email or fill in a form, we collect what you share: your name, phone number, email, the property address, details and photos of the trees or work, and how you heard about us. Job applications collect work history. Class sign-in forms collect your name, license number and contact details so we can issue continuing education credit.

Information collected when you browse. Like most websites, ours records the pages you visit, the site or ad that sent you, your general location, and your device and browser type. If you arrive from an ad, we keep the ad’s tracking code (for example a Google click ID) with your booking so we know which ad worked.

Calls and texts. We keep a record of calls and texts with our office, including the phone number, time and length. Calls to our office may be recorded and transcribed so we can get the details of your job right and train our team.

How we use it

  • To schedule estimates and work, send confirmations and reminders, and let you know when we are on the way
  • To prepare estimates and proposals, do the work, invoice, and follow up afterward
  • To answer questions and keep a history of your property and past work
  • To send occasional emails about tree care, which you can stop at any time
  • To measure which ads, searches and pages lead to booked work, so we spend our advertising budget well
  • To keep our website and forms secure and free of spam

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your appointment, estimate or job. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.

We do not share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with any third party for their own marketing. Text messaging opt-in information is never sold or shared, except with the service providers that deliver the messages for us.

Cookies and advertising measurement

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use them to remember how you found us, to keep the scheduler working from page to page, and to measure our advertising. The tools that set them on our site are:

  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages help
  • Google Ads, to know which ads led to a call or booking
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel, to measure our Meta ads and show them to people likely to need tree care
  • CallRail, which shows a tracking phone number so we know which page or ad led to a call
  • Cloudflare, which protects our site and forms from spam and attacks

To tell Google and Meta which ads produced booked work, we may share limited booking information with them, such as the ad’s click code, the date, and the value of the job. When we share an email address or phone number for this purpose, it is first converted into a scrambled code (a one-way hash) so the platform can match it to its own records without receiving the address or number itself.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the scheduler may not work without them. You can limit ad personalization at Google Ad Settings and in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with companies that help us run the business, and only what they need. They include our customer and scheduling systems, our website host, our phone and texting provider, our email service, our call tracking service, a video service that introduces you to your arborist before the visit, our payment processor, and the advertising platforms listed above. We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect our rights or someone’s safety. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Payments

Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not store your full card number. Please do not read card numbers aloud on a recorded call or send them by text or email; ask us for a secure payment link instead.

Children

Our website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Some of our school and family programs ask a parent or teacher for a child’s first name and school so we can send the right materials; that information comes from the adult and is used only for that program. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

How long we keep it

We keep customer and property records for as long as we work with you and for a reasonable time after, because tree care history matters for years and for tax and warranty records. Website analytics data is kept by the analytics providers under their own retention settings. We delete or anonymize information we no longer need.

Your choices

  • Stop texts by replying STOP, and stop marketing emails with the unsubscribe link in any email
  • Ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us below. We may need to keep some records the law requires
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser, and adjust ad settings with Google and Meta

How we protect it

We use reputable providers, secure connections, and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be exposed, but we will tell you if a breach affects you as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and change the date at the top.
